How do I register and log in?
The first step with registration is filing in the electronic registration form available at https://goo.gl/hp8N9f. On the form you will enter your personal details, creating a username which you cannot be changed after it has been registered, you can however change all other details through the administrator. Your password is system generated but you can change it to anything of your preference. Once registration is done you will receive a notification at the top of your page that your registration has been successful. How do I log in?
You can then log in using the username and password that will be sent to your registered email.
How do I make purchases?
Once you are logged in, you can simply make a purchase by following the steps below;
- Go through the shop(s) on the site, clicking the “add to cart” tab to put the items you want to buy into your shopping cart.
- Once you are done with your shopping, you proceed to click the “my cart” tab which takes you to a page that will show you all the things in your cart and allow you to check out.
- Click the ‘check out’ tab
- After checking out go to delivery option where you can either select, ‘pick up’ or ‘delivery’ and make your specifications.NB:All delivery charges are system generated.
- Click the ‘pay this’ tab and select a payment gateway of your choice.
- Click the ‘confirm payment’ button.
- You will get a confirmation email for your payment.
If, for example, you want to buy dining room suites; simply go to our Station Furnitures shop and pick your choice from the ones available and ‘add to cart’
What payment options are available?
The Hammer and Tongues Shopping Platform has up to five active payments gateways, which include Ecocash, Telecash, Visa card, MasterCard and Pay now. Your personal account also has an e-wallet provision from which you can conveniently make your payments from.
How do I load money into my E-wallet?
To load money into your e-wallet, you can either go to our collection/connection point at Karigamombe and make a direct deposit, or deposit through your master/visa card or transfer via ecocash. It’s all new and might take time to grasp, but get with the shopping trends in Zimbabwe. Here are steps to follow.
- Log into your account
- Got to “finances”
- Click the “ make deposit” tab
- Select the payment gateway to use to deposit money into your e-wallet
How soon will my order be delivered?
Our delivery period is usually 24hours, unless otherwise advised from the time of purchase. If you pay for delivery then the delivery package you choose will determine the period of delivery, i.e. for $3(extended) for 48hours, $5(Normal) for 24hours and $10(Express) for 3-4hours.
How do I know my order is secure?
Our job is to make sure you get your good in the state that you ordered them. We will only release the good into your custody when you produce and input a valid pin into our verification system. This pin will be sent to your registered phone number once you have made your order.
How do I change my password?
The password you getafter registration is system generated so it is often long, complex and not so easy to remember. Therefore you can change your password after you have logged in. Simply go to your “personal info” and change your password to anything of your preference, with nine characters.
What do I do if I’m failing to pay via Ecocash (situation provided there are funds in the wallet)?
When you are making your payment with ecocash, once you enter your number on the space provided, a pop up should appear on your phone for you to allow transaction. However if you get an invalid message or no pop up simply log into your ecocash and go to option number 2, “make a payment” then option number 4 “Approve payments” from there you will see the Hammer and Tongues payment awaiting approval.
Can I get my goods delivered outside Harare?
Yes you can, but on an extra charge. Hammer and Tongues as a shopping mall does not deliver outside Harare, but we have however made a facility that your goods can be delivered by our logistics team on a calculated charge depending on your destination and order. You can also opt to have a freight of your choice deliver for you, either Swift, DHL or Courier connect. It is our duty to get it to the freight for you but the chargers are yours to incur.
How do I find a product I need on the site?
When looking for product on site, you can do a quick search by entering the name of the product in the search tab. You will find the search tab on top of your page in any store you might be and click search, which will direct you to the product.
What do I do if I keep getting redirected to my personal information page every time I try to add items to my cart?
This is usually a sign that there is information missing from your personal detail. These changes can only be done by the administrator. You can contact our customer service team who will assist you with completing the necessary information/changes on your account and you can go ahead with your shopping.
